Portraits (week three)

This week we moved onto Fauvism.

In the first decade of the twentieth century art changed dramatically.

The work of artists like Derain and Matisse distorted form and colour.

We are going to try to distort colour and form slightly to create unusual self portraits over the next few sessions.

We began by playing with colour and light as we photographed each other, these images will be our starting point.
