Ocean Maths Y6 Autumn Workshop
In
September it was the turn of the Y6 children and their parents to take part in
the Ocean Maths workshop.
We started the workshop with some counting in 2’s forwards and backwards,
then we counted forwards and backwards in 20’s, 200’s, 5’s, 50’s, 500’s, 7’s,
70’s and 700’s!
We
started the games with some calculator maths from Ocean Maths.
Our
next game was ‘Divide and Rule.’
Mrs Moore brought along a great calculator game. When we carried out the calculations we ended
up with some words on our calculators!
We
played another Ocean Maths game which used our calculator skills.
We
finished the session with ‘Last One Standing.’
