Making Playdough
As part of our work on Climate Change the pupils in all three
Year3/4 classes needed access to lots of playdough.

The teachers made some but every class made some of their own.

Most measurements were cupfuls.

Cream of tartar had to be measured in teaspoons.

The oil was measured in tablespoons.

The choice as to how much food colouring was down to us- because
of that every lot of playdough was a different shade
of green!

We heated it in the microwave, stirring it every minute.

It was very hot when it finally finished cooking in the
microwave so we had to leave it to cool.
Then we used it for our Climate Change Project.
