Ocean Maths
Autumn
Term
Ocean Maths time has come around again and the Y5’s
have just had their autumn session, the first of three sessions to be held over
the year (one each term).
Mrs Gordon ran the session and
made sure that we had lots of fun whilst doing numeracy.
We played a whole variety of
games which involved lots of different numeracy skills from times tables, to
place value and logical thinking.
We worked in pairs and know
that if one of us is stuck, it is important to give our partner some thinking
time and/or suggestions rather than simply giving them the answer.
It was fab
that lots of our parents could join us for this session and we hope that more
will be able to make it for the next one!
