Instructions for Making Pizza!
As part
of Y5/6’s ongoing literacy unit on instructions, and since we had so much fun
making and writing our instructions for toast – we decided to have another go!
This
time though, we made pizza! Mmmm
First
of all we gathered together all one pile of the ingredients we needed and
another pile with the equipment we would use.
We talked about all of these so that we all knew why each item was necessary.
Then we
set to work!
Each of
us took a turn at doing each step, taking careful notice of what we were doing
along the way.
Once we
had completed all the steps, a couple of us took the pizza to the oven to be
cooked.
While
the pizza was cooking, we got on with writing down the instructions for what we
had done so that someone else could do the same.
We
finished writing just in time to enjoy eating our latest project! A fun literacy lesson, most
definitely enjoyed by all.
