Climate Change Schools
‘A pioneering approach to teaching climate change is about to take off in
the North East. Eighty visionary schools
have signed up to become the region’s new Climate Change Lead Schools who, over
the next year, will pilot an innovative method of putting climate change at the
heart of the national curriculum. They
will help pave the way for what is hoped will become a national programme of
positive climate change education an action, led by the North East and our
young people.’
