Geography
planning follows the QCA Scheme of Work and is intended to give children;
·
an understanding of
where they live in relation to their school, town and country
·
an opportunity to identify the main physical features of
their environment, and that of this country
·
the ability to read maps
and use a compass.
Consideration
will be given to the care of the local environment with emphasis on how to
improve our quality of life and to preserve our planet for future generations.
