Information
Welcome to our Foundation Stage Unit (Nursery)
We do hope your child will be happy here, Mrs Nimer, Mrs Gordon, Miss Darragh, Mrs Parkin, Miss Watson, Mrs Smith and Mrs Robinson promise to take good care of your child and are pleased to be part of their Foundation Stage experience.
Each child comes to us with varying backgrounds and
experiences and here at Sacred Heart we value this uniqueness and diversity.
In the Unit we aim to provide a happy, secure and stimulating
environment offering many opportunities for your child to learn.
Parents, you are your child’s first educators and we wish to work
together with you in order to give them the best start possible.
The information in the following links will help you and your child
prepare for life in the Foundation Stage Unit (Nursery).

Children Learn what they Live
If a child lives with criticism, he learns to condemn.
If a child lives with hostility, he learns to fight.
If a child lives with ridicule, he learns to be shy.
If a child lives with shame, he learns to be guilty.
If a child lives with tolerance, he learns to be patient.
If a child lives with praise, he learns to appreciate.
If a child lives with fairness, he learns justice.
If a child lives with security, he learns to have faith.
If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself.
If a child lives with acceptance and friendship he learns to
find love in the world.
