All children should wear a white top, e.g. vest or T-shirt and navy blue shorts for P.E. lessons.

Every child should have a pair of sandshoes and socks for P.E. (Trainers cannot be worn inside school for P.E.)

Children from Y2 upward may have the opportunity of going swimming. They will require swimming trunks / one-piece costume and a towel.

Hairstyles

Extreme hairstyles should be avoided, especially close shaved heads and patterns cut into hair. Long hair should be tied back.

For health and safety reasons the Sacred Heart School does not allow the wearing of rings, bracelets or other hand or arm jewellery. If ear-rings must be worn one stud at the bottom of each lobe is acceptable although parents should be aware that school cannot be liable for any injury incurred as a result. Parents must ensure all ear-rings are removed for PE and swimming lessons.
