Sponsored Walk

As part of the centenary celebrations the whole school from nursery to year six made a visit to Beamish open air museum on the 17th July.

The cost of the visit is being raised through a series of fund raising events both in and out of school. At the end of June we held a sponsored walk around Albert Park.

It was a glorious day and the sun shone brightly, All of the children were given a blue school baseball cap to protect them from the heat and also to remind them that we were all part of a team working together.

Everyone really enjoyed the day and lots of money was raised for our trip.

A huge thank you and well done to everyone who was involved, the walk raised £1255.39 towards the Beamish trip.
